I had the pleasure of visiting two of the Camphill Village Trust sites this weekend. First I visited the lovely, warm, and welcoming Cafe on the Corner in St Alban’s, where I met some lovely people and tasted some fantastic coffee. I resisted the hand-baked cakes, but they looked very tempting! The scones were certainly highly recommended by one customer. If you’re in St Alban’s and need refreshment I recommend taking a moment to find this cafe.
I received an equally warm welcome from the Trust’s Berith and Camphill Partnership and was lucky enough to spend a little time in one of the cosiest rooms I’ve ever seen. With soft lights, gently twirly projections, and bubbling tubes of water it’s virtually impossible not to relax!
And don’t forget – if you’re planning a wedding, or if you know someone who is planning wedding then come (or send them) to Shaw House next Sunday. They’re having a wedding fair, with all sorts of suppliers, including me! So please come and say hello – I’d love to see you – and find out more about what I can do for you, or your friend.
